On February 5, 2016 the Link Art Center launched Dadaclub.online, an online archive and creative platform meant to celebrate the dada legacy in the centenary of dada’s birth, that took place in Zurich on February 5, 1916. For a year, Dadaclub.online has been a place for uninterrupted experimentation, promoting the creative reuse of digital copies of original dada artworks. On the platform, around 148 artworks have been published so far, and visited around 250,000 times.
On February 5, 2017, Dadaclub.online stops publishing new remixes. The website will keep offering, in public domain, high quality digital copies of a selection of dada artworks, that will still be available for use and abuse; but we will stop publishing works in the online gallery.
But this is not an end, our friends: on March 25, the Link Art Center will open an exhibition featuring all the artworks published on the website, alongside some dada originals kindly offered by Collezione Campiani. Also, a catalogue will be published by Link Editions, archiving all the project in paper form. See you in March at Spazio Contemporanea, Brescia, Italy.

Although Dada didn’t invent collage, it was the first art movement to use it to collapse together images and ideas. Dada also pioneered concepts, logics, ideas and ways of working that were later transfused in contemporary digital tools, and became commonplace in the digital environment.

Celebrating DADA 100, and thanks to the open mindness of a private collector, the Link Art Center is sharing for over a year high quality digital copies of original Dada artworks and magazines, and inviting artists from all over the world to use them in their work. Browse them, download them, remix them, make copies and variations, integrate them in your video, animation, painterly, sculptural, interactive, whatever work, and then share it in our gallery. For over a year, the gallery will work as an ongoing, ever growing exhibition of dada remixes. Dada is nothing, enjoy Dada!
How it works
To participate in Dadaclub.online, you just have to browse the galleries of original Dada works, download your favorite artwork, use it in whatever context, and send us your work using the form below. Please specify:
– your name and surname
– the title of your work
– a reference link
– a reference to the work in the “Dada Works” gallery you drew inspiration from
In the following links you can select original Dada works, download hi-res files, remix them and share them back in the gallery. So, start having fun!
The works submitted will be uploaded to our open gallery. We reserve the right to not upload works that do not meet our quality and content criteria. The best works, submitted by users or commissioned by us to our favorite artists, will be presented in our monthly feature gallery.

The original Dada works made available on this website are a selection from the catalogue of Collezione Campiani, one of the most comprehensive private collections of Dada works in Italy.
All the original Dada works shared on this website are released to the public domain. All the derivative works in the “Gallery” are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
This website will be available for over a year, starting from Dada’s 100th birthday, on February 5, 2016. When the project will be over, the Link Art Center will publish a catalogue with a selection of the works submitted.
