“The Internet Yami-ichi / Black Market is a flea market for “Internet-ish” things. It will celebrate the Internet in all its glory at this buzzing setting. The cultural miracle we call the Internet crawls away from behind the glaring screen and drags along our so very dear memes, trolls, cats and glitches as well as the Web’s most obscure details to the booths. Artists, designers and other netizens are selling their wares or performing there ideas at the Internet Yami-ichi / Black Market.”
The Link Art Center will be presenting its current projects, including its online gallery Link Cabinet, a single web page hosting solo shows where artists exhibit a single, site-specific artwork; its platform project 6PM Your Local Time, facilitating distributed exhibitions taking place in different countries, and documented online as a single show; and some highlights from its editorial label Link Editions, that since 2011 produced almost 30 books, all available in print on demand and in free download.
Looking forward to see you there!
